A New Global Chapter for Clinical Engineering Begins
The Global Clinical Engineering Alliance (GCEA) is proud to announce the establishment of the Institute for Clinical Engineering & Health Technology Excellence — a new global platform dedicated to strengthening Clinical Engineering and Health Technology Management and expanding their contribution to better healthcare worldwide.
The Institute follows the unanimous approval of constitutional amendments by all eligible votes cast through the GCEA Extraordinary General Assembly. This historic decision represents more than an organizational milestone.
The Institute will advance excellence across the entire healthcare technology lifecycle — from innovation, assessment and selection to implementation, management, safety, performance improvement and responsible disposition. During its initial development phase, it will bring together international expertise to create high-impact programs, practical resources, competency-building opportunities, professional benchmarks and new models of global collaboration.
GCEA is inviting qualified, committed professionals to be considered for service on the Institute's developing committees.
