The Institute for Clinical Engineering and Health Technology Excellence (ICEHTE) builds upon the global network, professional expertise, and international partnerships established by the Global Clinical Engineering Alliance (GCEA).
The Institute does not replace GCEA or its mission. It provides the operational platform needed to translate that mission into concrete action.
While GCEA connects professionals, organizations, and healthcare stakeholders worldwide, the Institute focuses on developing and delivering structured programmes that strengthen professional competence, improve healthcare technology management, and support better healthcare outcomes.

Accreditation and Peer Review
Developing programmes that help healthcare organizations assess and demonstrate the quality, safety, competence, and performance of their Clinical Engineering services.
Professional Development and Certification
Supporting education, competency development, and professional recognition to prepare Clinical Engineers for emerging healthcare technologies and responsibilities.
